If you’ve found your way here, you’re likely looking for a mix of NYC energy, creative snapshots, and some very honest conversations about something many of us face but few talk about: food noise and other frequent obesity challenges.
I’m the voice behind mega2minniemegz, and while I wear many hats… from professional photographer to Director of Social Media and Events to blogger, my most personal mission is navigating the journey from “mega” to “minnie” while finally turning down the volume on alllll the mental chatter.
With a return to my GLP-1 Journey, I know folks want to know why NOW?
With a history of disordered eating, long term obesity solutions can be more complicated, but it doesn’t have to be world ending, so I sought out a solution that worked well for me in the past, and could be even more effective now.
For a long time, my world has been dominated by food noise. (That constant, intrusive internal monologue about what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat. It’s more than just “being hungry”; it’s a mental weight that can drown out creativity and joy.)
In this space, I’m sharing how I’m reclaiming my mental bandwidth by:
Moving past the “diet culture” tropes to focus on what it actually feels like to live a life that isn’t centered around the next meal.
Sharing my honest experience with obesity management and the tools that help silence the noise.
Turning that saved mental energy toward blogging, new city exploration, and community building.
When I’m not deconstructing the science of cravings, I’m busy capturing the world through my lens. You can still expect:
Creative Hustle: Behind-the-scenes at events and my life as a Editor
Curated Finds: From my favorite Kindle reads to the deals I’m posting on PangoBooks.
Why “Mega2Minnie”?
The name mega2minniemegz represents a shift. It’s about shrinking the “mega” presence of food noise and chronic health struggles so that the “minnie” (but mighty!) version of my true self can finally take center stage. I also started Mega2MinnieMegz as a way to track my progress toward running a WDW 10k, so I spelled Minnie as a pun.
Whether you’re also struggling with food noise/binge eating disorder, or you’re just here for the humor and aesthetics, I’m glad you’re here.

Stay tuned: I’ll be sharing more about how silencing the noise has changed my perspective on food and self-care.
Thanks for being part of the journey. Let’s get to work!
